Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey starring Jayesbhai Jordaar are about to arrive at the box office. However, before it was released, the film was now in some deep legal trouble. Here's what you need to know.

It is largely said that the scene from the trailer for the upcoming film caused it to get into legal trouble, read on and find out its full creation.

According to the latest Live Law reports, the NGO Youth Against Crime has now filed a lawsuit against the upcoming Ranveer Singh film Jayeshbhai Jordaar with the Delhi Supreme Court over a prenatal sex-determination in a film trailer.

For those who don't understand, Ranveer Singh's Jayeshbhai Jordaar trailer has a scene with the character of Ranveer and the character of his wife, Shalini Pandey, visiting a gynaecologist with his family (Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah). During the scene, Boman's characters, the doctor asks about the child's gender and is seen in the hope that it is a boy. As the trailer goes on, the very nervous Ranveer also witnesses the doctor ask about the child's gender. In response to both questions, the gynaecologist was seen with a code indicating that the woman had a daughter.

The use of this particular scene in the film apparently angered the NGO, which in turn led it to take this drastic step to bring legitimacy to the forefront. Lawyer Pawan Prakash Pathak's petition claims that although starter Ranveer Singh talks about the issue of women's fetishism in India and promotes the Saving the Girl Child case, and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT), 1994.

According to the report, the plea by the advocate reads, “The ultrasound clinic scene where the technology of ultrasound for sex selection is being advertised openly without censor and as per section 3, 3A, 3B, 4, 6 & 22 of the PC & PNDT Act, same is not allowed & hence the instant PIL.”

Meanwhile, when we talk about the film, Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey will play on May 13. Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Jia Vaidya, Samay Raj Thakkar will also star in the comedy-dramatic film.
